Newport,Pennsylvania Township police arrest three after discovering meth lab.
Newport,Pennsylvania Township police have arrested three people on drug charges following the discovery of a suspected methamphetamine lab at 8 Rock St. in the township's Glen Lyon section.
The three suspects are Peter Arnold, 42, Kelly Malleo, 31, and Margie Fitzsimmons, all of 8 Rock St. They were arraigned this morning by District Judge Donald Whittaker, Nanticoke, and taken to Luzerne County,Pennsylvania Correctional Facility. Bail was set at $75,000.
Arresting officers said they uncovered the meth lab while Luzerne County,Pennsylvania Children and Youth was investigating unsanitary conditions at the home.
